D2272

D2272 is a highly cost-effective silicone wetting agent. It has ultra-low surface tension, does not promote slip, does not affect interlayer adhesion and recoatability, and has broad applicability.

Product Properties

• Ultra-low surface tension (0.1% aqueous solution, static surface tension as low as 20.5 mN/m)

• Excellent substrate wetting and penetration, effectively preventing craters

• Excellent resin compatibility

• Does not promote slip, does not affect interlayer adhesion and recoatability

Recommended Applications

• Water-based coatings, inks

Recommended dosage: 0.1-1.0%

• Water-based fountain solution

Recommended dosage: 1.5-2.0%

• Water-based wood primers and water-based plastic paints

Recommended dosage: 0.2-0.3%

• Water-based leather coatings or leather tanning

Recommended dosage: 0.3-0.5%

• Metal paints

Recommended dosage: 0.3-0.5%

• Petroleum extraction, cleaning and washing products

Recommended dosage: 0.6-1.0%
