D3040
D3040 is a nonionic hydrophobically modified polyurethane rheology thickener. It is especially suitable for thickening high-grade water-based coatings, interior and exterior wall latex paints, water-based inks, adhesives, and elastic paste systems. It has outstanding thickening effects and excellent flow and leveling properties.

Excellent compatibility with various water-based resin systems; improves film formation performance, giving the paint film a full gloss
High resistance to biological hydrolysis; excellent resistance to water, alkali, and scrubbing
Performance is not affected by pH value
Applications
Recommended dosage: 0.1-0.5%
This product can be added directly or after dilution with propylene glycol (ethylene glycol)
It is recommended to add it at the final stage of the production process, stirring slowly and adding until the appropriate viscosity is reached
It can be used under slightly acidic (or alkaline) conditions, but strong alkaline conditions can cause degradation of the product
It can be used alone or in combination with other types of thickeners
Storage
It is recommended to store in a ventilated and dry environment at 5-40℃, and freezing is strictly prohibited.
